During quarantine I spent 6 months secluded in Pacifica, California - just 10 miles south of San Francisco. The fog rolls in about 3PM every day and the crashing waves are loudest late at night. Beach towns are beautiful, lonely places. Like many during this time, I watched other people’s intimacy from afar and pursued some semblance of inner peace.
